Your Questions, Answered

  • Wear something you don't mind getting clay on. Pottery is a gloriously messy art. Closed-toe shoes are best, and we recommend tying long hair back. Aprons are provided.

  • Just yourself. We provide all clay, tools, glazes, and firing — they're included in every class fee. (For Mud & Merlot, you're welcome to bring your own bottle of wine.)

  • Pottery has its own pace. After you finish a piece, it has to dry, get bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again — a process that typically takes 2–3 weeks from your last class. We'll let you know when your work is ready for pickup.

  • Absolutely — a lot of our students prefer to. Our semi-private lessons and Mud & Merlot evenings are designed to be enjoyed in pairs, and you're welcome to coordinate scheduling with a friend.

  • Yes. Stephanie's special education background means accessibility and inclusion are core to how we teach. If you have specific needs or concerns, please reach out before booking — we'll do everything we can to make sure you have a great experience.

  • Yes. We have classes with an accompanied adult learner (parent) for beginners serving children ages 5 and up, and our Pottery Lessons welcome students ages 8 and up.

  • We do — our studio is a wonderful space for birthday parties, special weekends, team-building outings, and church or community group gatherings. Visit our Private Events page or reach out to plan something custom.

  • We ask for at least 48 hours' notice for class changes or cancellations. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out and we'll find a solution that works.
